Boys golf: Permian keeps firm grip on first place at district championships
SAN ANGELO The Permian boys golf team turned in the second-best round of the day with a 321 in the second round of the District 3-5A Championships at Bentwood Country Club Monday and kept a firm grip on first place at the halfway point of the district tournament online golf game.Abilene High shot a 319 to make up two strokes on the Panthers, but the second-place Eagles are still 11 strokes behind Permian’s two-round total of 631.
